Fall Work Days!
(September 12, October 3)
Join us throughout the Fall and help your camp clean up and prepare for our retreat season!
What happens on Work Days?
Starting at 10 am, volunteers get the opportunity to work with full-time staff on improvements projects around Lutherwood. We will begin each day with an safety overview, prayer, and then split into project teams. Projects can be anything from property cleaning, landscaping, cabin cleaning, painting buildings, or whatever else is needed. Lunch is provided and the day ends at 4pm.
What to bring?
Most Work Days involve lots of outdoor work, so make sure to plan accordingly. Wear clothes that can get dirty and bring layers for rainy days. Work gloves + related safety gear provided. There will be breaks throughout the day, so bring a water bottle and some snacks.
Who can come to Work Days?
Anyone is welcome! Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and notated in the RSVP.
When are Work Days?
Spring Work Days will be September 12 and October 3 from 10am-4pm. We will be working on the following projects:
Preparing the property for winter months
Maintaining defensible space of buildings by removing brush or leaves around edges of buildings
Deep cleaning cabins + preparing retreat spaces.

How do I sign up?
Click “RVSP Here” below to reserve a spot. We ask everyone to do this so we can plan tasks accordingly and that our cook can make enough food. Please fill out all information, including dietary restrictions!

Seasonal Volunteer Work Days
We offer 2-3 scheduled weekends per season for anyone from the Lutherwood community to join us on site for a day of work projects! Lunch is included. Past projects include rebuilding the canteen deck, pruning tree limbs, building trails, and painting buildings. Lakeview Lodge Quilts
Are you a quilter? Have a quilting group? Help make our Lakeview Lodge feel homey with a quilt on each bunk! We have single and double-sized beds. Contact office@camplutherwood.org for more information.
