Fall/Winter/Spring Programs
Sure, the spectacular summer months are when Lutherwood is alive with the cacophony of campers singing and laughing here on Lake Samish. But even during the months when camp is calmer and the pace is slower, Lutherwood hosts other camp groups, schools, churches, non-profits, university students, and more! We’re grateful that our beautiful, unique site serves around a thousand people in Western Washington every year, and most of these guests visit outside of summertime.
Lutherwood also offers our own retreats throughout the year. Check back to learn more as new programs and events are added!
LIT Retreat and Reunion
Friday and Saturday, March 7-8, 2025
Come join other LITs at Lutherwood for an overnight retreat! This mini-retreat will include three meals, snacks, down time, games, training, and more! You’ll get to hang out with other teens, learn more about our Leaders in Training program, and why we need YOU as a leader at Lutherwood! You might even get to return the following weekend to help at Elementary Retreat and use some of the skills you’ve learned!
When: Friday, March 7 to Saturday, March 8, 2025 (6:00 pm to 4:00 pm)
Who: LITs from Summer 2024 and 9-12 graders interested in serving as LITs in Summer 2025
Cost: $65

Elementary Retreat
Friday and Saturday, March 14-15, 2025
We welcome Elementary school-age campers and their parents for our one night retreat at Lutherwood! This introduction to camp allows kids and their parents to stay overnight in a cabin, eat meals in the Dining Hall, make crafts, participate in campfire worship, play games, and more! Whether you’ve never been to Lutherwood before or you’re a seasoned pro, it’s a great time to meet young people from around our region and dip your toes in our Summer 2025 theme, “The Water of Life”!
When: Friday, March 14 to Saturday, March 15, 2025 (6:00 pm to 6:00 pm)
Who: K-6th graders (Elementary schoolers) and their parents (K-1st grade are required to have one parent in attendance, and other parents are welcome) and Youth Leaders
Cost: $65 for youth, $45 for adults
